Jeff is survived by his mother, Ruth Taylor of De Queen two brothers, Jamie Taylor of Searcy, and Jerry Taylor of Lockesburg one niece and her husband, Camille and Christopher Kean of Lockesburg one nephew and his wife, Hunter and Kaylynn Key of Dierks as well as other relatives and a host of friends.Ī private memorial service will be held at a later time, with inurnment to be held at Mt. ![]() He was preceded in death by his father his sister-in-law, Sandra Taylor and his nephew, Derek Taylor. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church and enjoyed hunting, fishing, storytelling, and spending time with his family and friends. Jeff worked in different capacities over the years, but most enjoyed doing odd jobs when he was able. Jeff was born the second of three sons to the union of James Edward and Ruth Ione McDaniel Taylor on May 4, 1962, in De Queen. More than anything, Don cherished the time spent with his family and friends. He enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, and working on old cars. ![]() He was a member of the American Legion, National Rifle Association, and Good Sam’s Trailer Clubs in California and Arkansas for more than forty years. Don later returned to Antelope Valley High School in Lancaster, California, attending night classes to be able to work on rocket engines for NASA. In 1953, Don married the love of his life, Marilyn Ann David, in California, and to this union, four sons were born. Don faithfully served four years, serving overseas during the Korean Conflict. Don attended school in Garden City, before enlisting with the United States Navy. Donald Warren Gaylord, age 93, resident of Horatio, Arkansas, passed peacefully from this life on Sunday, December 3, 2023, at his home.ĭon, as he was known to family and friends, was born the first of six children to Ottis and Lillian Kitterman Gaylord on May 2, 1930, in Garden City, Kansas.
